Bad Case of Gas
When I bought my little 4x4 economy car a few years ago I could top it off for a tad over $13. But the price of gasoline was on the rise and no reason to think it would stop. Indeed it has not. When I arrived in town in the early afternoon today the price of regular was effectively $4.10. When I departed later on that evening it was $4.18! It now costs nearly twice as much to top off my tiny little tank than it did when I first bought my car to save on gas in the first place.

Winter Won't Fuck Off!
I hate to sound like a global warming denialist but what the fuck already? A little local warming would be a nice start like, say, sometime this Spring. A week ago it was 80°F. Today it's closer to 30°F! To top it off, my lights start to flicker as the sky cracks. Thunder snow!? God must be really pissed!
Nothing follows a December Big Gulp like a 4 month Slushy!

'Til Death Dew You Part
Blood pressure normal. Not diabetic. So saith the good doctor during todays follow up to my visit several weeks ago when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and prescribed medication. There were several contributing factors: I was dealing with a difficult client at the time and I was drinking copious amounts of Mountain Dew Amp energy drink to relax.

Obama!
Yes, I'm voting for Obama! More than that, I'm a Democratic delegate in my precinct for him which means that I have to be at some county convention this weekend at 9 AM in the morning. Brutal.

Spring Forward
After an unseasonably eventful winter season packed full of floods, wind storms, blizzards, car accidents and, yes, an abnormal amount of business of all things it's usually so dead that I have to put essentials on credit and pay it off later on during the year I needed something to get me out of the house. Something to get me off my ass and unplugged from the computer. So with a spontaneous decision Monday morning I made my way out my snowy driveway, through a springtime hailstorm so severe I had to 4x4 it over the ice-covered hills and signed up for a college course.
